Reached by: Ally Condie

Book Description:

Cassia’s journey began with an error, a momentary glitch in the otherwise perfect façade of the Society. After crossing canyons to break free, she waits, silk and paper smuggled against her skin, ready for the final chapter.

The wait is over.

One young woman has raged against those who threaten to keep away what matters most—family, love, choice. Her quiet revolution is about to explode into full-scale rebellion.

With exquisite prose, the emotionally gripping conclusion to the international–bestselling Matched trilogy returns Cassia, Ky, and Xander to the Society to save the one thing they have been denied for so long, the power to choose.

My Thoughts:

WOW! Can I just say that this was a great ending to an amazing series! I love how all throughout this novel you do not know who you are supposed to trust! You do not know who is the bad guy and who is actually trying to help. Sometimes there are people trying to do the right thing but end up looking like a bad person for it, and other times when they seem good but really are just trying to make you think that! SO CONFUSING! BUT... amazing because you are always guessing.
I did wish that there was more of Ky and Cassia together but that is a very small complaint from me.
I do not know how I feel about the character Indie though.. I appreciate that when she wants something she is not afraid to go after it but DANG YOU INDIE, you make me mad sometimes!
And the pilot? and the society? the rising? I hate and love at the same time how they all are like one but not... they are all acting like each other and it is hard to follow but in a good way.

This novel just really hits the heart at some points and brings you in even deeper when reading. In the race for the cure you really begin to worry about some key people!
There were really some parts that just took me by surprise!
All in all, I give this book 4.5 out of 5 stars!

Breaking Dawn Part 2

So, I went to go see Breaking Dawn Part 2 today and can say that I was actually impressed!

I was a huge fan of these books when they first came out and I was so excited when I heard that they would be turned into movies. BUT... When Twilight came out I was not impressed at all. The whole movie was just awkward. Now I will say that the movies steadily got better as they came out! But I was still always disappointed with something.

This new movie was absolutely awesome! I would explain my favorite part.. but it gives too much of the movie away. I will say though, that even for the people that read the books, this movie will shock everyone!! Some parts totally took me by surprise!

Bella was super hot as a vampire! She totally owned it! Jacob was just as sexy as ever! and the other characters were all great too! One thing I loved was the fact that you got so hooked into everyone wanting to protect the girl and everyone working together to protect one another, that you get sucked in to the love and friendship they all have for each other. Also, I loved getting to see a diverse group of the vampire world! It was pretty awesome!

And the bad guys were totally awesome as well!

Now, the only thing I absolutely could not stand... and this has been an issue since the first movie... is the effects on the super speed and jumping! WHAT IS THAT? All of the powers that the vampires have are made to look awesome, but the jumping and speed just look ridiculous. They have made plenty of money through out these series to do a little better with that.

Another thing about this movie was the parts that make you laugh. Unlike the first couple, where you laughed just because the actors were quite awkward in their roles, Breaking Dawn Part 2 actually had funny parts that were meant to be there! And it worked too!

All in all though, this movie was still amazing! It was the absolute best of the Twilight movies and had plenty of surprises!

I would give it 3.8 stars out of 5.

Some Series I Love!

One of the things I love with books are the great series! I love when you get to see a story continue and the characters grow! The only thing I can not stand? THE TIME IN BETWEEN EACH BOOK!
I understand all of the work that goes into writing and publishing a book, I really respect and appreciate it too. BUT... by the time the next book comes out, I usually forget some of the really big points in the book before it.
I know some of you are thinking, "Why don't you just reread the previous books?" My answer to that is, I barely have enough time to get a few books read, and if you saw all of the books I have on my list to read you would totally understand that there is no way I have enough time to reread an entire series again just because I can't remember a few points in the story that I kind of need to remember inorder to understand what is going on in the book that just came out. I know I can go online and look up what happened but it just feels wrong! It is like cheating!
So I guess I will have to suck it up and find the time that I do not have for the series that I love! The other books I want to read will just have to go on hold for a little longer.

Here are some of my favorite book series:

Paranormal Activity 4

There was screaming... There was jumping out of the seat... And there was me saying "why did I come watch this movie? WHY?"

It was so scary! I hate all of the Paranormal Activity movies because they always make me wanna just cry or scream for dear life. This one was no exception.
Just like the ones before it, it is pretty slow at the beginning and all of the action is jam packed at the end. Also, this ending to me was not very good! I hate the whole witch covenant thingy.. Why couldn't they just keep the movie about creepy demon guy and forget about witch covenant thingy.

But all in all it was still poop you pants scary!
But I would save your money and wait till it is out on DVD to rent, or even wait till it is free on Netflix!
