Book Haul!

So I went to the book store today just to "look around" which lets be honest, it always means I will be walking out with something to read. So I got 3 new books that I am really excited about!

1. Starting with the book on top is The Fault In Our Stars by John Green! I love this book so much! I have already read it and it is one of my favorite books! I have this book on my kindle but when I find a book I love, I have to own an actual book of it! I know I am not the only one that does this, I mean come on be honest ereader people! There is nothing like an actual copy of a book you know you love! I would totally recommend this book to anyone who loves YA that doesn't mind a book that makes you cry in some parts, and laugh hysterically the next.
See my review on The Fault In Our Stars HERE!

2. Now the book on the bottom left is The Diviners by Libba Bray. I have not actually read this book but I have heard quite a few good things about it. Plus it is set in the 1920's which I think is so fun! I love movies and books that take place in this era! It is one of my favorite time periods! I am super excited to read this and will put up a review when I have time to finish it!

3. On the bottom right is Level 2 by Lenore Appelhans. Once again this is a book I have not read, but also a book I have heard absolutely no complaints about! This one sounds like such a fun and intense book! I can't wait to read it and will let you know what I think as soon as I am done with it!

I have been waiting so long for this to come out!

7 DAYS LEFT!

This is the third book in Ally Condie's Matched series. It is about a world where everything is chosen for you, your home, your job, even your husband or wife. Would you go against society to be with the one that you love?

Sherlock Holmes

Looking for a new mystery? Love the story of Sherlock Holmes?

Well you should try the tv series on Netflix called Sherlock! It is a new and modern spin to the old story.

Also, if you like that, there is a new series coming soon called Elementary. This is another story to Sherlock Holmes but also in a much different spin. I think it looks super good and can not wait to watch it! You will have to watch to find out.

Tiger Lily

What I thought and a little about the book:

This book was so fascinating! Coming from someone who has heard nothing more than the kids movie version of the story of Peter Pan, this was a whole new side of things. This is the story of before Peter met Wendy, and was in love with a girl named, you guessed it, Tiger Lily. The story is told by the perspective of Tinker Bell, which was interesting because in this book fairies can feel others emotions too, so you get to know a little of everyones thoughts through out this book. This book had its happy parts and sad parts, its ups and downs and its in betweens. Over all, however, it was a great story. It is a book you really can not predict and thats what I enjoyed most. I also love Tiger Lily's character. She seems like a very cold, wild, reserved person on the outside. But coming from Tink you get to see what she is really like on the inside even when she is hiding it so well. This novel brings you love, suspense, fantasy, and adventure all in one!

Where you can find it:

My Rating: 3.8
