Book Review: Level 2 by: Lenore Appelhans

Book Description:

Three levels. Two loves. One choice. Debut novelist, Lenore Appelhans has written a thrilling otherworldly young adult novel about a place that exists between our world (Level 1) and what comes after life (Level 2).
'I pause to look around the hive - all the podlike chambers are lit up as the drones shoot up on memories ... I've wanted to get out of here before, but now the tight quarters start to choke me. There has to be more to death than this.'
Felicia Ward is dead. Trapped in a stark white afterlife limbo, she spends endless days replaying memories, of her family, friends, boyfriend ... and of the guy who broke her heart. The guy who has just broken into Level 2 to find her.
Felicia learns that a rebellion is brewing, and it seems she is the key. Suspended between heaven and earth, she must make a choice. Between two worlds, two lives and two loves.

My Thoughts:

WOW! This book was so awesome! This is not just another typical YA dystopian book! This is a completely different type of story! And can I just say I love how unique it is! This book had me so all over the place! I didn't know who to trust! And the main character Felicia is so kick butt!! She was totally awesome!

Another refreshing thing about this book was that there was no love triangle! It was nice to not have to choose which guy you wanted the character to be with! At first you are torn between Niel and Julian but then you realize quickly that there is no competition in Felicia's mind.

Level 2 is the kind of book you can't put down! each page you turn, your left wanting to read more and more because you want to know what happened to Felicia in the past and you also want to find out who the good guys actually are! It is definitely a MUST READ! Props to +Lenore Appelhans for this amazing and refreshing new idea for this book! What a talented author!

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars!!!

If you liked Level 2! Stay tuned for Level 3!!!!
