Keep Holding On

I recently finished the book Keep Holding On by Susane Colasanti. This was an amazing book! High school students should definitely read this book. From bullying to romance to bestfriends that try to help you through anything, this book is an inspiring story.

Description:
A romantic and empowering book about bullying.
Noelle's life is all about survival. Even her best friend doesn't know how much she gets bullied, or the ways her mom neglects her. Noelle's kept so much about her life a secret for so long that when her longtime crush Julian Porter starts paying attention to her, she's terrified. Surely it's safer to stay hidden than to risk the pain of a broken heart. But when the antagonism of her classmates takes a dramatic turn, Noelle realizes it's time to stand up for herself--and for the love that keeps her holding on.

Rating:

Great things in this book:
Amazing friendships:
The friendship between Noelle and Sherae is amazing. Even though sometimes Noelle is insecure about somethings in her life, Sherae does not care about that stuff and this book shows what a true friend is. When family isnt there to help, Sherae is.
Simon is a guy that goes against the norm. He likes to be different and Noelle envies him. He ends up becoming an amazing friend to her and helping her out even when she doesn't realize he is doing it on purpose.

Cute romance:
Julian sounds like a fun, artistic, caring guy who also is some what of a hero. He is understanding and does not care about all the rumors that people talk about. Everyone needs a Julian in there life.

Real high school sometimes:
The guy that thinks he can have any girl he wants with no consequences. This guy is a jerk and just plain gross.
The girls that think they are too cool to get in trouble no matter what.
The kids that are sometimes too afraid to stand up for one another.
And so much more.
