Book Review: Selection by Kiera Cass

I just finished this book last night, and all I have to say is... THE NEXT BOOK NEEDS TO COME OUT NOW! I know, I know it is coming this spring and just let me tell you I will get it and read it the day it comes out!
This book was so good! It was not predictable and thats a big plus for me! There are times when I can not figure out what boy I like most, or who I would like to see America end up with... Actually I still can't decide 100%. Also, the other selected girls are hard to read sometimes, I do not know who to truly trust in this book. It was awesome! I really am so excited to see what happens in the next book!
Another thing I loved about this book was the history of how the future became that way in the book. Like how the United States is no longer that, but is now the country of Ilea and run by a royal family. It is just cool how this book is put together.
Just a truly awesome book all round! I would totally recommend this to people! Especially anyone who likes Delirium, Hunger Games, Divergent, Matched, or any books similar to that.

I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars!

Now stay tuned for the next book that comes out April 23, 2013!

Some Series I Love!

One of the things I love with books are the great series! I love when you get to see a story continue and the characters grow! The only thing I can not stand? THE TIME IN BETWEEN EACH BOOK!
I understand all of the work that goes into writing and publishing a book, I really respect and appreciate it too. BUT... by the time the next book comes out, I usually forget some of the really big points in the book before it.
I know some of you are thinking, "Why don't you just reread the previous books?" My answer to that is, I barely have enough time to get a few books read, and if you saw all of the books I have on my list to read you would totally understand that there is no way I have enough time to reread an entire series again just because I can't remember a few points in the story that I kind of need to remember inorder to understand what is going on in the book that just came out. I know I can go online and look up what happened but it just feels wrong! It is like cheating!
So I guess I will have to suck it up and find the time that I do not have for the series that I love! The other books I want to read will just have to go on hold for a little longer.

Here are some of my favorite book series:

Divergent series complete

I have finished Divergent and Insurgent by Veronica Roth! I have to say it is one of the best series i have ever read! It reminds me a lot of Hunger Games! With epic battles and longed for romances with drama all combined into one! I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who likes dystopian novels!!

I give this series:

Out of 5 thumbs up!

Description of Divergent:
In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue—Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is—she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.
During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice renames herself Tris and struggles to determine who her friends really are—and where, exactly, a romance with a sometimes fascinating, sometimes infuriating boy fits into the life she's chosen. But Tris also has a secret, one she's kept hidden from everyone because she's been warned it can mean death. And as she discovers a growing conflict that threatens to unravel her seemingly perfect society, she also learns that her secret might help her save those she loves . . . or it might destroy her.

Description of Insurgent (SPOILER ALERT FOR DIVERGENT):
One choice can transform you—or it can destroy you. But every choice has consequences, and as unrest surges in the factions all around her, Tris Prior must continue trying to save those she loves—and herself—while grappling with haunting questions of grief and forgiveness, identity and loyalty, politics and love.
Tris's initiation day should have been marked by celebration and victory with her chosen faction; instead, the day ended with unspeakable horrors. War now looms as conflict between the factions and their ideologies grows. And in times of war, sides must be chosen, secrets will emerge, and choices will become even more irrevocable—and even more powerful. Transformed by her own decisions but also by haunting grief and guilt, radical new discoveries, and shifting relationships, Tris must fully embrace her Divergence, even if she does not know what she may lose by doing so.

If you have read these series, which faction would you choose?

Currently reading.

I am currently reading Divergent. It is such a good book! I could hardly get myself to put it down long enough to type this post.
This book is another dystopian type novel, my favorite kind of book! I will post my final thoughts about it when i am finished with the book. So far it reminds me a lot of Hunger Games, Matched, or Delirium.
